SENIOR PHOTOGRAPHY SHOOT TIPS FOR GIRLS

Transcript

Hey girls, I'm excited today. I'm gonna talk to you guys a little bit about senior pictures, and about your hair. My name is Crystal Nichols. I've been in the fashion and beauty industry for ten years. I went to school at the Zanards  International School of Hair Design. I've got a few tips for you that are gonna make senior pictures go off without a hitch and be flawless.

First thing I would highly recommend - no drastic changes before you see your pictures. Keep your cut and color about the same, in the same hue tones that you've been doing for the last couple of years. Don't do purple, won't be good. Get your hair cut and colored for two to three weeks before you have your picture scheduled. That way your hair is at it's best. It's perfect and it's blended in, it looks really natural. Keep the style about the same. I would not recommend - if you wear your hair down and straight to do a big fluffy up do. It won't be you, you won't be happy with the outcome.

Practice your run though a couple of times before the big day. If you want your hair straightened, you’ll want to add some loose beach curls. Or maybe some soft waves. Do it a couple of times to get the hang of it, and make sure you have it perfect before the big day, so it's ready.

Multiple styles on the day of senior pictures, is a great idea. Because as long as you stick with doing it - down first, and then progressively working your way up. Then adding three quarters up. And then, finally moving up, maybe you could have some little side ponytail or all the way up. But start with your hair down first so that you're able to get the best effect.

Follow these simple tips and they should make your senior pictures be flawless and perfect.
